GUY MAES is Sales Engineer Director UT at Zetec, since January 2016. Previously, he has been working as Sales Director, Product Manager and UT Applications Manager at Zetec and R/D Tech, since June 2000. He is an Engineer with a Masters Degree in Applied Physics from Brussels University in Belgium. Mohammed Abufour graduated from University of Northampton, UK with B.S. degree in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). He is a lifetime member of the American Society for Non-Destructive Testing (ASNT) and holds NDT Level III certificates in Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing and Visual Testing (VT). Mohammed was the recipient of three international awards from ASNT, Technician of Year in 2006, Fellow Award in 2012 and Mentor Award in 2018. Mohammed served as a board of Director of ASNT-USA from 2015 to 2018, and currently he is active member of Saudi Aramco Non-Destructive Standards Committee, ASNT Certification Management Counsel (CMC), ASNT Industry Sector Qualification (Voting member), and ASNT -NDT Engineering EducationCommittees (USA). Mohammed is one of the founders of Saudi Arabian Section of the American Society for NDT and currently he is the Vice-President of the society.
Dr.Yicheng Peter Pan is the Software Engineering Manager of Operational Certainty Solutions in Emerson. Dr. Pan has 19 years of product management & engineering experience with extensive hands-on experience in the process and NDT industry. His NDT expertise includes IRT, UT, PT MT, ET, PT, and VT. Dr. Pan is taking the responsibility to lead three new-product development teams in the design and development of digital solutions targeted for industrial instruments/assets/devices within the process automation industries. The solutions’ technologies include predicting maintenance, machine Learning, analytic modeling and analysis, and artificial intelligent. Dr. Pan has contributed to ASNT in numerous ways for many years. Currently, he is serving as Chair for the ASNT Research Council (2020-2021) and Division Chair for Section Operations Council (2020-2021). In academic achievements, Dr. Pan has over fifty peer-reviewed journal publications and conference proceedings. Dr.Ravibabu Mulaveesala received M.Tech from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirapalli in 2000 and PhD from Centre for Applied Research in Electronics, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD), India in 2007. Currently he is working as an Associate Professor at Centre for Sensors, INstrumentation and Cyber-physical Systems Engineering (SeNSE), Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, New Delhi, India. His research interests include thermal, acoustical and optical methods for non-invasive/non-destructive imaging technologies. He serves as editorial or advisory boards of the several refereed journals of Institute of Physics, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), Elsevier etc and also to several peer reviewed conferences.
Dominik Nestler is Head of Sales at the award-winning startupsentin from Bochum, Germany. With an academic background in Sales Engineering & Product Management and the experience of working for German high-tech companies like AUDI and Bosch, he successfully led several projects implementing AI technologies for NDE. Recently, as part of the EU-funded WeldGalaxy program, he and the team finished the joint development work with TWI for an AI-based assistance system for the evaluation of radigraphic images.
Stephen Garrett joined WJE in June 2014 and has been involved in various projects ranging from field inspection, materials testing, and structural analysis of both new and existing structural systems. He has a primary interest in civil infrastructure assessment, specifically reinforced concrete durability and repair. Other areas of work include construction vibration monitoring and coating assessment.
Mr. Garrett is an active member of ASNT, NACE, and ICRI, serving on the following committees: NACE SG05 Cathodic Protection for Concrete; ICRI 160- Sustainability; ICRI 210- Evaluation; ICRI 320- Repair Materials.
